The city is still abuzz with talk about these sounds, and everyone has their own guess or explanation regarding their origin. Some say it's because Jesus is coming back or that the world is ending in 2012. This phenomenon stretches beyond North Battleford, with similar experiences reported in Saskatoon, northern Saskatchewan, parts of the US, and even in Europe. - Music now at five. Mysterious booms were reported in Clintonville, and now Montello is experiencing similar noises. In Clintonville, the city set up audio and video recorders to capture the noises that have been waking up residents in the past few days. However, they didn't capture anything. The booms started on Sunday and have been described by residents as sounding like thunder, fireworks, or someone slamming a heavy door. The city will hold a meeting tonight to update residents on the investigation. - Music. Tonight, there are reports of more booming sounds. A loud rumble was heard last night, which was apparently strong enough to shake walls and rattle windows. The police department received several reports of this loud rumble and noise around 5:30 PM. They are currently investigating but have no explanation so far. The reports are widespread within the community, and many reliable sources have confirmed it. - Music. There was a loud boom that shook all the windows. The entire house trembled, but no smoke or flames were visible.
