So, this demo is going to show you how to do two different things. We're going to do it in the same example. One thing we're going to look at is how to use editable attributes in a block. An editable attribute is simply text that is in a block that you can edit and change without exploding the block. The other thing we're going to look at is making a block that is annotated, so you can adjust the scale based on the scale of the drawing. The example we're going to look at here is a drawing title. We're going to create one that has editable attributes and that's also annotated. So, the first thing I need to do is make sure that I've got my text styles set up according to the ID CAD standards, which I've already done. Just take a look at that document. You need to make sure you've got all the stylus BT sizes because we're going to use the 8 3/16 and 3/32. You want to be at a 1:1 scale for your annotation scale for right now. And you want to make sure that you are on layer zero because we're creating a block, and generally, we want to create blocks on layer zero so that they can take on the characteristics of whatever layer we put them on. So, I'm going to be working in paper space size, even though I'm still in model space. And that's because we're going to make this an annotated block that will scale up and down.
