Instructions and Help about When Form 8865 Dealers

Well, a Largo car dealership is getting nationwide attention, and it's all because of an ad that's gone viral on Facebook. The write-up gives a brutally honest description of an old car that they were quite frankly having trouble moving or getting off the lot. Fox 13's Haley Hines reports now from the dealership in Largo and shows us how that honesty paid off. There are some car dealers out there that would try to cover up car flaws, but Journey Autos took the opposite approach when they were trying to sell a rusty 14-year-old, two-hundred-thousand-mile car. Their Facebook ad, which included a few choice words, laid it all out there, and wouldn't you know, within 24 hours, that car was sold. Please read carefully, so there's no misunderstanding, this is not your typical car commercial. The 2002 Oldsmobile Alero located at Journey Auto is not anything special or pretty. With 200,000 miles, you do what you have to do. Lost on the side, I even zoomed in on the rust so you can see. When one particular set of wheels just wouldn't roll off the lot, Shell Mar Roseman, a salesman at Journey Autos in Largo, jumped into the driver's seat. He logged onto Facebook with his humor, his honesty, and his not-so-PG description. "It steers, it drives, it blows, coach, and it won't leave your pocket. I'm telling you right now, this is rusty," he promised. "It'll last you at least all spring 2017. It will get you from A to B, just don't try to make it to C." Within 24 hours, the car was sold, and the ad went viral. It's been shared more than 30 thousand times. Roseman has gotten calls from Chicago, Wisconsin, Mississippi. Even a Long Island radio show was an easy sell...
