Hi, this is Anthony, parent of Parents in Parent LLP. I have a very special guest with me today, Ryan So Cash, who is a YouTube star from Poland. Ryan, thank you for flying over and being a guest here today despite the circumstances I find myself in. It is an honor to be in the IRS medic studio, a place where I have watched through many turbulent moments and developed a passion for international tax law. Thank you for having me. Yes, I did have a tax issue that I promptly reacted to after seeing the warnings on the horizon. However, the bigger issue was my disgust at the revelations of how American tax law works. Yes, I am an expat with a business overseas. I live in Poland, speak Polish well, and I am married to a Polish woman. We have two lovely children. My media presence is growing every day, and I recently had Lucas Villas on as a guest on my show. Interesting. So, what made you question why you had to file US income taxes? Let me give you some context. In my early days, I was an artist with a liberal arts education and no mention of taxes along the way. When I was 23, I moved to Europe and left everything, including my identity as a US citizen, behind. Living in a foreign country meant I had to assert myself and truly love and embrace the new culture. I identified myself as a citizen of Poland and represented Poland through my YouTube career. Through the years, I started a popular company called Media Crafts and became invested in my family.
