Hey everybody it's Bjorn from WP Learning Lab in this video I'm going to show you how to create your first contact form or your second or your third contact form using the contact form 7 plugin now those plugins really easy to use in fact we install it it even has a prefabricated contact form that you can put in onto a page and I will show you how to also customize that form to extend it a little bit and how to create your own new form so here we are in a wordpress dashboard and the first thing we have to do is install the contact form 7 plugin so we hover over plugins on the Left we click on add new in the search bar we search for contact form 7 this is it right here click on install and then activate the plugin as you saw in the previous page there are a lot of other contact form plugins as well so if you prefer a different one go ahead and use that it's just that this tutorial video is specific to contact form 7 and then what you learn here may not be transferable to the other ones now the contact form 7 is installed it added a menu item called contact on the left and if we click on contact forms underneath the contact menu we see that one form has been created already and it gives us a shortcode this is a shortcode we need to install this form on a page but if we go and look at the form of clicking edit we will see it's a very simple form and it's actually what a regular contact form looks like on most websites the first field is your name the...
